Florian has a remarkable career and hands-on experience in forestry. Originally trained as professional forester, he moved to Lohr a.M. in Germany to complete his training as forest technician. He supplemented this with the certificate for the operation of forest harvesters, where he also holds a license as trainer. Florian currently holds an M.Sc. degree from Freiburg University. In the Black Forest in Germany he has been working for a number of forest management companies, amongst others as safety inspector, machine operator, and tree feller under precarious conditions. Florian has experience in cable crane yarding and in helicopter logging in Austria, Slovenia, and Germany.
